The Wonderful World of Disney on ABC in May

Its' a Wonderful World and Disney magic makes it even more so.

One of my favorite memories from childhood was watching The Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday evenings. Now, ABC Television is bringing more Disney magical moments into our homes with the return of "The Wonderful World of Disney" film series.

Beginning on May 3rd, ABC will air iconic Disney titles for everyone's enjoyment. Monday nights

in May will be full of Disney and Pixar fun including the broadcast debuts of both Disney and Pixar's

Finding Dory and Academy Award-nominated Disney and Pixar's Incredibles 2.

The Wonderful World of Disney Schedule:

Incredibles 2– Monday, May 3 (8:00-10:30 p.m. EDT)

Helen (Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (Craig T. Nelson) navigates

the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet, Dash and baby Jack-Jack. Their mission is

derailed when a new villain emerges and threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge,

especially with Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.

Finding Dory– Monday, May 10 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT)

When Dory, the forgetful blue tang (Ellen DeGeneres), suddenly remembers she has a family who may be looking

for her, she  takes off on a life-changing quest to find them with Marlin (Albert Brooks) and Nemo (Hayden Rolence).

The team gets a little help from Hank, a cantankerous octopus; Bailey, a beluga whale who’s convinced his

biological sonar skills are on the fritz; and Destiny, a nearsighted whale shark!

Monsters, Inc. – Monday, May 17 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT)

Lovable Sulley (John Goodman) and his wisecracking sidekick Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) are the top scare

team at MONSTERS, INC., the scream-processing factory in Monstropolis. When a little girl named Boo wanders

into their world, it’s the monsters who are scared silly. It’s up to Sulley and Mike to keep her out of sight and

get her back home.

Tangled– Monday, May 24 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT)

When the kingdom’s most wanted—and most charming—bandit, Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi), hides out in a

mysterious tower, he’s taken hostage by Rapunzel (Mandy Moore). The beautiful and feisty teen with

70 feet of magical, golden hair strikes a deal with the handsome thief, and the unlikely duo sets off

on an action-packed escapade.

The Princess and the Frog– Monday, May 31 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT)

Set in the great city of New Orleans, this is a modern twist on a classic tale featuring a beautiful girl named

Tiana (Anika Noni Rose), a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads

them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana.
