Never Lose the Sense of Vacation with LeSportsac!

As summer comes to a close and a new season is slowly blowing in, I realized that I can still hold on to a bit of that tropical summer feeling with my LeSportsac Vacation Paradise Hobo Bag and Voyager Backpack. Not that I live in the coldest place ever (let's face it, I'm lucky if we have a day that feels like 80 degrees here in Florida), but the sense of vacation and the calm island breeze does make a girl think happy thoughts.

The Hobo Bag is small and easy to fill with everyday necessities while on the go. With its small size, I unintentionally take less with me which is good too.

The Voyager Backpack is also a great option for those on the go. I was able to pack shampoos, brush and hair spray while comfortably fitting a change of clothes and some shoes. I can't wait to use it when we go to Las Vegas in November. The Voyager Backpack will be the perfect personal bag to fit all of my travel items for that long 5-hour flight.

If there is anything I could say more about LeSportsac is that their bags are truly durable and will last you a long time.

Another great bag is the LeSportSac backpack! They have sent us these for review before and after 3 years, multiple road trips, and first grade... still my little can rock her original LeSportSac backpack! We recently brought one on her VERY FIRST trip to Disney World (of course, she picked one of the adorable Spring Mickey Loves Minnie prints).

These bags can take anything you throw at them (and I can vouch for that being anyone from age 7 to 70)! Our now second grader rocks her vacation bag to school everyday.  She loves the Mickey shaped zipper pulls, and this style bag is great for younger grades.  It holds up, is water resistent, easily, cleaned and has multiple pockets.  We've packed it with books and supplies, sleepover essentials, and everything a 7 year old needs for her first plane trip! At the end of the day, they pass the kid test, the time test, the weather test, and the over-stuffed test! Worth every penny!

Book Review For Tweens, by Tweens: Sara Shepard's The Amateurs

When given the opportunity to read Sara Shepard's (author of the Pretty Little Liars series) new book before it came out, 11 year old Autumn jumped on the chance! She received an ARC of the book and the Q&A below are her honest thoughts and opinions:

What was your overall opinion of the book?
It was a little slow in parts, but really good.  Sometimes I picked it up to read and did not realize how much I was finishing in one sitting.

What was your favorite part?
I really liked the way the characters were described in the beginning.  It took a lot of pages but it made you able to really see what they were like.  And there were some surprises (like Maddy) that seemed confusing at first but ended up pretty cool.

How does it compare to Pretty Little Liars?
It was a mystery that surrounded someone disappearing and dying like the way Pretty Little Liars started with Allison.  It was also a similar neighborhood.  The characters in Amateurs were more into finding answers.  Pretty Little Liars is about the missing person sort of coming back for the girls who lost her, Amateurs is about the main characters figuring out what happened and trying to solve the mystery.

Who would you recommend this book to?
Anyone who likes Pretty Little Liars at any age. It was slow but I would still give the next book in the series a chance because it explained a lot of important things.

Look for the Bare Necesseties with Harvey's Jungle Book

We love Harvey's here at Picturing Disney and the new Jungle Book bags have us singing our worries away. The streamline tote is perfect for fun or work and we were super stoked when Harvey's sent us one!
  • Some of my favorite features of the bag:
  • Mickey Mouse icon zipper pull
  • Black and Tan coloring to match anything
  •  Harvey's black lining
  • Retro Jungle Book design
