Are you the ultimate Aladdin fan? You have got to read this book!
I am extremely excited for the new live action Aladdin film coming out. I have been the ultimate Aladdin fan since childhood! I grew up with the great Disney classics of the 80's and 90's. Aladdin and his magic carpet has always held a special place in my heart.
You can imagine how stoked I was to receive an advanced copy of the book Far From Agrabah by Aisha Saeed. This book tells the untold story of what happens during Jasmine and Aladdin's famous carpet ride!
The Review:
Far From Agrabah is beautifully set during the night that "A Whole New World" takes place on. Once I realized this my romantic heart nearly burst! I LOVE this concept. I also love the bigger story behind all the travels in the song that I've sung at least a thousand times since my youth. I loved traveling to Prince Ali's Kingdom of Ababwa and you will too!This book hit me right in the nostalgia! It is a great read for a lazy day at the beach, rainy snuggly Sunday on the couch, and especially aboard a plane headed for your Disney Parks spring break or summer vacation.
