Have you been to Il Mulino in New York City?
Il Mulino NY boasts 20 years as the #1 Italian restaurant in NY in the Zagat guide. I am happy to say that Il Mulino is now in Orlando as well!
Il Mulino in Orlando at the Swan is clearly created in the NY Il Mulino culinary style.
I have tried the Arancini and the balsamic portobello
appetizers. Delicious! The bread basket is difficult to stay away from!
I have food limitations and they were exceptionally
accommodating, even on last minute notice. The chef prepared a special dish for
me, with chicken piccata and a side of peas in butter sauce. I will say I have
never been a fan of peas – but I have had dreams that featured those peas since
that first meal there! They were delicious!
Parties of 4 can order family style. The children’s menu
includes pizza, pasta choices and chicken parmesan.
For dessert choose from several Italian specialties, which
include tiramisu, gelato, tartufo and flourless chocolate cake… and take a look
at (and why not try) the selection of dessert wines while you are there!
Il Mulino – I will certainly be back!
