New Books Celebrating Walt Disney World's 50th

Walt Disney World is celebrating its 50th Anniversary and all the new merchandise has been fantastic. Sadly, my favorite of all the celebratory merchandise has  been available in the parks but not available online. Read on to see how and when you can get your own copies of these fabulous reads.

Didn't get what you wanted for the holidays?  Have no fear he best new Disney books available for your enjoyment are ready to ship to your home just in time for Spring.

New Books Celebrating Walt Disney World's 50th:

A Portrait of Walt Disney World: 50 Years Of The Most Magical Place On Earth: (Kevin M. Kern, Tim O'Day, Steven Vagnini)

THE MUST HAVE book of the year! This coffee table book is a fabulous look at vibrant and rare Disney theme park art and photographs. The pages are packed with some remarkable stories and incredible history. It is a treasure trove of concept art and photos that is extensively researched. The book begins with the history of Florida pre-dating Disney's residence there and slowly transports readers up to the World's Most Magical Celebration.

This 303 page masterpiece is one for die-hard mouseketeers. Chapter 8 is full of "Reflections" from Disney enthusiasts like John Stamos. A story about John Lennon's love for Walt Disney World touched my heart. I'd love for this chapter to have been larger but then again it's a chapter that could go on forever because who doesn't love Walt Disney World?

Delicious Disney: Walt Disney World: Recipes & Stories From The Most Magical Place On Earth (Pam Brandon, Marcy Carriker Smothers & the Talented Disney Chefs)

Delicious is definitely a word that comes to mind when you think about the Disney experience. Food is part of the Disney magic and no trip is complete without a discussion of all the fabulous Mickey fare consumed in the parks.

Disney Foodies rejoice because "Delicious Disney Walt Disney World" is no ordinary cook book.  It is a holistic look at Disney's culinary past, present, and future woven around delicious recipes. The book is filled with more than 60 recipes from the Disney Chefs ready to be mastered by Disney enthusiasts. I can't get enough of the mouth-watering photos, nostalgic restaurant menus and behind the scenes scoop! It's a beautiful book that is coffee table worthy.  It should not be hidden away with other cookbooks in the kitchen although it boasts 320 pages of magical recipes including appetizers, main courses, sides and desserts.

This book will inspire even those afraid of the kitchen to roll up their sleeves, get out the apron and start bringing vacation memories home.

I am including one of the most fun recipe's here for you cheers!

Art of Coloring: Walt Disney World: 100 Images To Inspire Creativity From The Most Magical Place On Earth: (Kevin M. Kern and Fabiola Garza)

"The Art of Coloring: Walt Disney World: 100 Images To Inspire Creativity From The Most Magical Place On Earth" is a 100+ page delight for Disney fans. It is a companion book to "A Portrait of Walt Disney World: 50 Years of the Most Magical Place on Earth". The book is part of the Art of Coloring series, which has sold more than 2 million copies across the United States.

The title says it all, this book inspires creativity.  Each chapter of the book begins with a page of relevant Disney facts but this is primarily a coloring book. The book sparks nostalgia with its vintage Disney art as well as nod's to new attractions. It is fun to reimagine old friends such as Figment as well as color up newer friends from all the parks. Take my advice and hide this one from the kids.  It's a guilty pleasure that you deserve to enjoy in peace.

Disney Publishing has outdone themselves this year. I know I say this a lot but the choices and variety of books just keep getting better. There isn't enough time in a day to read everything I want to get my hands on.. I don't know about you but I can't wait to see what else Disney has in store for 2022. Come back for all the updates throughout the year.
