Star Wars The High Republic- A New Golden Era in the Star Wars Universe

A new era in the Star Wars universe has arrived. Disney Publishing Worldwide and Lucasfilm have unveiled Star Wars: The High Republic, the first publishing-led Star Wars storytelling initiative.

Star Wars: The High Republic is set during the golden age of the Jedi Order.

The adventures take place in a hopeful and optimistic era when the Republic and the Jedi Order are highly respected for serving and protecting the galaxy. The timeline is 400 years before the Skywalker Saga  and several thousand years after the Old Republic era.

This multi-year publishing program will be rolled out in phases.

Phase I is the “Light of the Jedi.” This period on the Star Wars timeline will not overlap any of the current films or series. This is an exciting and new, never-before-explored timeline.

Fan Favorite Authors Are On Board:

Star Wars: The High Republic will feature stories from fan-favorite authors Claudia Gray, Charles Soule, Justina Ireland, Daniel José Older, and Cavan Scott. The first books and comics are set to debut in August 2020 at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim.
