Epcot World Tour: Mexico Pavilion!

Epcot's Mexico pavilion is known for the great snacks, drinks, and items you can get before you even step into the amazing pavilion so its no wonder I could spend hours wondering around the marketplace! This amazing area makes you feel like you have just stepped into an evening marketplace at the heart of a Mexican cultural town.

Highlights:
  • Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros ride
  • Mexico Folk Art Gallery
  • San Angel Inn Restaurante (for sit down dining inside the pavilion marketplace)
  • La Hacienda de San Angel (for sit down dining outside the pavilion marketplace)
  • La Cantina de San Angel (for quick service dining inside the marketplace)
  • La Cava del Tequila (for quick service drinking inside the marketplace)
  • Awesome margaritas at a stand outside as well as most dining locations
  • Marketplace shopping at Plaza de los Amigos
  • Lagoon view shopping at Ranchito del Norte
  • Live Entertainment throughout the day by Mariachi Cobre and Viva Mexico
And one of my favorite rides is house here: Gran Fiesta Tour starring the Three Caballeros! Don't miss it or the amazing shopping and dining experiences within!

Free Disney Quote Typography Printables!

Here I am again, grateful to my lovely fans and followers for allowing me to share my love of Disney with you and being so receptive and caring.  If it weren't for your likes, follows, shares, and comments I wouldn't be able to spend my free time on this photoblog hobby and I wouldn't get the hits that contest sponsors are looking for so I could review and give away some awesome stuff!
To show my ever growing appreciation now that we have hit 4000 Facebook fans here are two 8x10 art printables that I used to sell exclusively in my Etsy shop for you to download FREE! :)

If you right click on the files and "open in a new tab" you should be able to enlarge the image and save.  I was able to print it on 8x10 cardstock and it fit nice and clear but you may be able to go bigger! :)

Also be sure to check out the map art printables I have up for free as well!

Epcot World Tour: Morocco Pavilion!

Have you journeyed to Morocco on a tour of Epcot? The tilework and architecture alone are worth taking time out of your day to stop in.  The natural sunlight that pours into the buildings in this pavilion give it a glow like none other.

Highlights:
  • Marketplace style shipping in a variety of shops including Tangier Traders, Souk-al-Magreb, Brass Bazaar and Casablanca Carpets
  • Walkthrough Gallery of Arts and History
  • Restaurant Marrakesh (for sit down dining)
  • Tangerine Cafe (for quick service dining)
  • Live Entertainment throughout the day from Mo Rockin

And the King of Morocco himself commissioned the building of this pavilion- the only one in Epcot built by the country's own government! He even sent craftworkers from Morocco to make sure everything was built true to their customs- such as damaging a small area of an artwork to represent the idea that God alone can create perfection.

Don't miss Morocco on your next Epcot World Tour!

Epcot World Tour: Canada Pavilion!

Have you ever taken the time to take a really nice stroll through the Canada Pavilion? It is worth the time to observe the natural beauty and imagineered majesty that can be found through the pavilion.  It is usually fairly secluded and the attention to detail is incredible.  From the towering spires of the replica French hotel to the waterfall and treeline, take a moment to stop and check out the beautiful pavilion dedicated to our wonderful neighbors to the north.

Highlights:
  • O Canada! CircleVision film
  • Northwest Mercantile fun shopping stop
  • The incredibly popular restaurant Le Cellier Steakhouse (for sit down dining)
  • Live Entertainment from the band Off Kilter

Book Expo America Disney Publishing Giveaway!

As you may have noticed, I am a total bookworm! This weekend I had the opportunity to attend New York's huge event Book Expo America thanks to my educator credentials.  We came home with a suitcase, duffle bag, and two bookbags filled with amazing books! (Follow me on GoodReads to check out my reviews as I read through them!)

In any case, the Disney Publishing booth didn't have any of their big books coming out to give away since Ridley Pearson was at the expo signing for a ticketed event but I did manage to nab this adorable Disney reading tote, 2 sets of Kingdom Keepers trading cards, a World of Reading book starring Sophia the First called "Welcome to Royal Prep" and a Heroes of Olympus pin (the series is published by Disney and written by Rick Riordan).

This Disney Publishing prize pack is up for giveaway this week here on Picturing Disney with easy entries just for following and liking across the web!
