Disney Cruises Into Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is back and a new Disney float will be making its maiden voyage amongst throngs of celebratory New Yorkers this year.

The 95th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will feature the new Disney Cruise Ship float "Magic Meets the Sea."  The ship, inspired by the Disney Wish will feature 15 of our favorite Disney friends. I can't wait to get to the parade route to greet Captain Minnie Mouse, Princess Tiana, Aladdin, Jasmine, Cinderella, Elsa and Anna! The characters represent those who are part of the experiences on board Disney Wish. Princess Tiana has an interactive adventure aboard the ship! Cinderella's bronze statue stands in the Grand Hall and there's even a stage show featuring Aladdin and Jasmine.

Per Disney, Showcasing the "grandeur" of a Disney Cruise Line vessel, the new float will feature design elements including a Mickey Mouse-inspired color palette, towering red funnels and a filigree motif along the hull. Even more exciting, Disney Channel and Broadway star Jordan Fisher will  perform a new Disney Cruise Line original song titled “Together We Set Sail.”

From Macy's:

“The entire Macy’s Parade team is thrilled to welcome Disney Cruise Line to this year's outstanding Parade lineup,” said Jordan Dabby, producer of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. “This magical float will enchant an audience of millions in New York City, and nationwide on television with Disney’s signature brand of imagination and innovation.”

“Magic Meets the Sea” is inspired by the Disney Wish, which sets sail in summer 2022. Look for the exciting maiden voyage on The 95th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC Nov. 25 from 9a-12 noon.
