We knew Simba had it in him to rule the Box Office.  The numbers are in and Simba reigns!

The Lion King has the second best opening of 2019 and could replace “Incredibles 2,” (launched last year at $182.7 million) as the ninth biggest North American movie launch of all time.

  1. I LOVE The Lion King! I remember going to see it when it came out at the drive in when I lived in California. It’s one of the last things we got to do with my step-father before he died from multiple myeloma.

  5. We haven't seen it yet and I've heard mixed reviews. I'm totally going to watch it when it's out on video though because I have to!
