An Evening at the Boardwalk: Part 2

After having a wonderful dinner, we headed off to the other side of Crescent Lake to explore the resort further.

Having stayed once before at the Yacht Club Resort, I knew we were close to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. In fact, we were so close that we were able to see the fireworks from both illuminations and blank. Of course, we couldn't hear the music, but it was still something special to see. Take a look at the map below and you'll see what I mean.

Towards the bottom left hand corner, guests can walk to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Towards the top right hand corner, guests can walk towards EPCOT.

We walked over to the back entrance of EPCOT. The delightful sounds of the Italian Pavilion filled the air. It was possibly the first time I had ever only heard the soundtrack for this area. We then decided to walk over and explore the Yacht and Beach Club Resort.

Dare I say that after 10:00pm, most guests are making their way to their rooms and most of the lobbies and hallways are empty. This makes for the perfect time to explore the resort. Not only do you get to roam the halls and sit in a quiet lobby, but you get to visit any restaurants that are open to walk through. We almost made it to Beaches and Cream to inquire about their Kitchen Sink, but made it after closing time.

We even saw a bunny roaming the grounds.

So in close, if you are looking for something to do while you are not in the parks or want to do something a little different, I suggest you go to the Boardwalk and check out some of the great things to do, see and eat. Until next time, enjoy some of the last photos taken while we wandered through the resort.
